Terms of Service

Kynshp ("Kynshp," "we," "us," or "our") operates a curated matchmaking service for mature adults, single parents, and caregivers. Unlike open swiping apps, Kynshp does not present users with a searchable stack of profiles. Instead, a dedicated matchmaker reviews candidates and delivers a small number of hand-curated "match drops" to each member's dashboard on a periodic basis. By creating an account or subscribing to Kynshp, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Kynshp. By using the service, you represent that the information you provide during onboarding is accurate and that you are using the service for your own genuine matchmaking purposes.

Kynshp is offered on a subscription basis at $29 USD per month. Subscriptions automatically renew each month at the then-current price until cancelled. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and by subscribing you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel.

You agree to communicate with your matchmaker and with other members honestly, respectfully, and in good faith. You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity, marital status, family situation, or intentions;
• Harass, threaten, or behave abusively toward matchmakers or other members;
• Use information obtained through a match (including contact details, family circumstances, or caregiving details) for any purpose outside of that individual introduction; or
• Share, publish, or forward another member's profile, photos, or personal details to anyone outside the platform without that member's consent.

Details you share with your matchmaker — including your caregiving responsibilities, custody arrangements, and life circumstances — are used only to inform your matches and are treated as confidential. Likewise, any personal information you learn about another member through an introduction is shared with you in confidence and solely for the purpose of exploring that introduction. Please treat every match with the same discretion you'd want extended to you.

Kynshp curates thoughtful introductions, but we do not and cannot guarantee that any introduction will result in a relationship, marriage, or any particular outcome. Matchmaking involves human judgment and two people choosing each other — factors outside of our control. The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kynshp and its matchmakers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from your interactions with any other member introduced through the service. Any interaction, meeting, or relationship you pursue with another member is undertaken at your own discretion and risk. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount of subscription fees you paid to Kynshp in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in conduct that puts other members at risk. You may stop using the service or cancel your subscription at any time as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify active subscribers. Continued use of Kynshp after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
